KLIA Transit: Fast Express Rail Link to KLIA with 3 Stopover Stations
The KLIA Transit is a fast commuter rail service with 3 stopover stations between kL Sentral and Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). The travel time is just 35 minutes. It is one of the 2 lines operated by Express Rail Link Sdn. Bhd.(ERL). The other line is the KLIA Express, which is a fast premium non stop rail link that links the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, KLIA, with the Kuala Lumpur city centre in just 28 minutes.
The KLIA Express Rail Link, in short ERL, is a high speed 57 km electrified airport rail link that connects the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) with the Kuala Lumpur Sentral (KL Sentral) transportation hub in the Kuala Lumpur city centre. The two lines are:
- KLIA Express: Fast Non Stop 28 Minutes Rail Link from Kuala Lumpur city centre to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
- KLIA Transit: Fast 35 Minutes Commuter Rail Link from Kuala Lumpur city centre to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) with 3 stopover stations.
KLIA Transit of Express Rail Link
The KLIA Transit of the KLIA Express Rail Link is a 57 km commuter rail service that stops at three intermediate stations at Bandar Tasik Selatan, Putrajaya/Cyberjaya and Salak Tinggi.
The KLIA Transit is operated on a journey time of 35 minutes and the frequency is at every 30 minutes.
KLIA Transit integrates with KTM Commuter and RapidKL LRT at Bandar Tasik Selatan and with Putrajaya Sentral at Putrajaya Cyberjaya station. Fares are based on distance travelled. Tickets can be purchased through ticket vending machines and ticket counters at the station.

The five KLIA Transit stations of the KLIA Express Rail Link ERL are as follows:

KLIA
The KLIA Transit stations in KL Sentral and KLIA are situated at different locations from those of the KLIA Express.
At KL Sentral, the KLIA Transit station is accessed from the main Transit Concourse at Level One instead of KL CAT which only caters for KLIA Express passengers. In KLIA, the station is accessed from Level Three (Arrivals) of the main terminal building.

KLIA Transit Fare
The KLIA Transit fares are based on the distance travelled. The fares for KL Sentral-KLIA and KLIA-KL Sentral are the same as KLIA Ekspres at RM35. There are reduced fares for elderly people (over 50), though this reduction applies only to Malaysian citizens.
Check-in facilities are not available at KLIA Transit stations. However, passengers holding KLIA Ekspres tickets are allowed to check-in luggage for several airlines at the KL CAT in KL Sentral.
