Nu Sentral

The Nu Sentral in the transit hub KL Sentral, Kuala Lumpur, is an integrated development that comprises of a 7-storey shopping mall, a 27-storey office tower, a service apartment and a 25-storey hotel called The Aloft. The gross development value is RM1.4 billion.

Nu Sentral will house a major station in the new Kota Damansara-Cheras Line of KL MRT.

Located to the south of KL Sentral, the seven-storey Nu Sentral shopping mall is managed by Nu Sentral Sdn Bhd, a 51:49 joint venture between MRCB and Pelaburan Hartanah Bhd.

Nu Sentral is expected to generate up to RM80 million a year in leasing revenue. This gives a reasonble rental yield of about 7% per annum,

The mall, with 270 lettable store locations will have a net lettable area of 650,000 sq ft from a gross floor area of 1.2 million sq. ft. The confirmed reputable anchor tenants are Parkson Corporation and Golden Screen Cinemas who would occupy 138,000 sq ft and 50,000 sq ft respectively.

The Nu Sentral shopping mall is set to open in March 2012.

The mall would have direct linked to KL Sentral Station via a fully air-conditioned bridge. There will be separate bridge to link to the KL Sentral Monorail Station.

Nu Sentral will undergo both Singapore’s BCA Green Mark (compliance) and Malaysia’s Green Building Index (certification), making it the first green retail mall in Malaysia.
